Located in the heart of downtown Columbia, Maryland our 27,000 square foot wellness refuge features our award-winning day spa, an exclusive modern meditation room, three serene mindful movement studios, our signature thermal healing water environment, and much more.
Separate men’s and women’s locker rooms, allow you to unwind alone or with friends. With several private rooms with seating up to 50 people, THE pearl is an extraordinary venue for private parties, meetings, and workshops
THE philosophy
At THE pearl, we believe that true beauty and wellness come from within. We aspire to cultivate a centered mind and a healthy body, and to eliminate that which challenges your mental and physical state.We believe in the healing powers of nature and traditional remedies from around the world. Our goal is to share our knowledge and expertise with all.Most importantly, we believe that every person is as unique and as extraordinary as a pearl. We believe that serving others is an honor, and we will stop at nothing to ensure absolute satisfaction.
We offer 3 manicure areas and 3 relaxing pedicure stations. Our custom treatments are inspired by ancient rituals and remedies from around THE world.
Our beautiful wellness lounge is the pearlfect refuge for self-care. Enjoy fruit infused water or our signature tea before or after your treatments, classes and workshops.
Our mindful movement studios feature whole- self-healing traditions such as yoga and sound meditation and feel good classes like barre and mat pilates.
Although we do accept walk-in clients when possible, our clients are generally seen by appointment only. Please keep in mind that weekends and evenings often fill our schedule early. We suggest scheduling your next spa treatment before leaving the spa so that you can have your desired time and treatment.

Gift certificates may be redeemed for services or retail products unless specified. At this time, THE pearl is unable to replace if lost or stolen.
We request the courtesy of a 24-hour cancellation notice for all spa services and a 48-hour notice for packages and parties. Cancellations that are made less than 24-hours notice for spa services will be charged 100% of the service cost. No-shows for appointments will also be charged 100% of the service cost. Cancellations made less than 48-hours for packages and parties will be charged 100% of the package or party total.
We suggest that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. If you are a first time client, please arrive 20 minutes early as a profile will be completed prior to your service.
We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service times & will be responsible for full service fees.
Out of consideration for other guests, please mute phones and other devices. Cell phone use is only permitted in the retail boutique.

Closed Sunday • Monday 12 pm-7 pm • Tuesday- Saturday 10 am-8 pm
